Attention Zara customers making returns [UPDATED]

Reader-submitted: Good Afternoon, I was just at the UPS facility on Oberlin Avenue across the Lakewood Cheder (fountain ballroom chassuna hall) to drop off a ZARA RETURN, and they told me even though it says UPS on the label, it has to be dropped off at the UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE (USPS).

And he told me, by the way, he has 60 boxes of Zara returns sitting in the back that will never be returned since they were placed in UPS Drop boxes.

If you can please make an awareness of this so people can go down and claim their boxes.

Tizke L’Mitzvos – Thank You.

Below is a return label from the company. The USPS info on top and UPS info on the bottom has apparently been the source of confusion.

    • UPS and USPS have been joining recently to make things more efficient. UPS ships a large load of small packages to the local USPS, and they deliver to homes. this works out more efficient as the postal service goes to each home every day. So for small packages, they can easily fit on the mail trucks.
But this has to be prearranged, and that is the double name on teh label.
I don’t know why they are so confused – as another reader mentioned – let them just bring the packages themselves.
      p.s. Never heard of Zara.

  1. This is not true I just spoke to my local rep who works in Lakewood facility.
If ups gets a usps package or fedex they call over to other carrier to pickup or they drop off at that carrier.
The only truth is they are upset at local residents for stuffing packages into the drop boxes they are made for letters. they said a few boxes broke already.

  2. I just had that today. I brought it in and guy told me it says USPS and it needs to go to regular post office. Glad i didnt put it in the outside box.
