AT&T has expanded its wireless connectivity options in Lakewood by adding a new cell tower to the township.
The company says it has added the new cell tower on Cornell Street to enhance the area’s 5G LTE coverage and help give residents more reliable wireless service.
The investment will help customers get the most out of their mobile devices.
Cell service in Lakewood has been spotty at best in recent years for many of the major networks and it is anticipated that this new tower will help alleviate some of those issues.

I have Verizon and It’s terrible more often than not either I can’t be heard or the call drops…
My customers have medical alerts in both Verizon and AT&T versions all over town. Lately, I find that ATT has better coverage around the Lake (A Country Place, Westgate and Central Ave areas). This was never the case before. I expect this new antenna development to continue with this trend.
