Assembly Republican Conference Leader Dave Rible, R-Monmouth and Ocean, offered his congratulations to Kevin O’Dowd, Gov. Christie’s current chief of staff on his nomination as the state’s new Attorney General. Rible also offered his best wishes to Regina Egea, who has been named as the governor’s new chief of staff, replacing O’Dowd.
Rible released the following statment. “Kevin O’Dowd possesses all the skills necessary to be New Jersey’s top law enforcement official. Kevin is highly qualified to serve as attorney general and is a true professional. He treats everyone with respect and is dedicated to working for the best interests of our state and its residents. I offer my sincerest congratulations to Kevin on his nomination and eventual confirmation.
“Regina Egea is well-qualified to serve as Governor Christie’s new chief of staff. Her commitment and professionalism are excellent examples of what the public deserves from those who work in government. Regina’s experience as director of the Authorities Unit and as chief of staff to the state Treasurer will be extremely helpful in her new position. I look forward to working with her and offer my congratulations.” [TLS]
