Assemblyman Dave Rible has been chosen by his colleagues to serve as the Assembly Republican Conference Leader making him the second highest-ranking member of the Republican caucus. The conference leader helps develop the party’s policy and plays an integral role in implementing the Governor’s agenda.
“I am honored and humbled by the trust placed in me by my colleagues in the Assembly Republican Caucus,” said Rible who previously served as Republican Whip, Deputy Conference Leader and Assistant Republican Whip. “While we have made great strides, we have a lot of work to do in order to make our state affordable for all New Jerseyans.”
Rible, of Wall, was elected to the position following the passing last week of Assembly Minority Leader Alex DeCroce who was succeeded by Assemblyman John Bramnick.
“While I am deeply saddened by the passing of Leader DeCroce, I am heartened that we have such a capable leader in Jon Bramnick taking over the leadership of our caucus,” said Rible. “I am honored to be given this opportunity to assist Minority Leader Bramnick as we embark on what will surely be a challenging next few years in the Legislature.”
“While we face many challenges, I am confident that our state is finally moving in the right direction and I am committed to continuing that progress,” added Rible. “I look forward to working with my colleagues and Governor Christie as we seek to achieve our shared goals of lowering taxes, creating jobs and improving our business climate.” TLS.
