PHOTOS: This morning, several Askonim from NJ, NY and Canada, met to discuss business networking and Parnassah. The meeting, arranged by R’ Fishel Todd, was primarily geared toward those who are involved with Parnassah related Chessed organizations. The meeting had 2 purposes. A. To introduce to them the Mentor Network which has 2 basic functions: A. To help businesses in trouble and also help business get to the next level. And B. Help businesses grow by business to business networking.
The other reason for this meeting, was to introduce the different organizations to each other, so they can share resources as well as learn from their best practices and experiences.
In attendance, was R’ Fishel who hosted and chaired the meeting, Yirachmiel Landi who runs a successful Lunch, Learn and Business Network with professionals in several areas in Manhattan, Avner Costeff, an expert small business consultant who leads the intake coordination for the Mentor Network, Ralph Alter of the Hadracha organization out of Toronto, Canada, Doniel Solloff, Director of Aguda’s PCS Lakewood Division, Steve Reinman, Lakewood’s Economic Development, Tzvi Folman, Board of directors of Aguda’s PCS, and Charles Freidman of Foreclosure Defense Center, and R’ Motti Tress. Other Askonim who were unable to attend, joined the meeting via Skype and phone conference.

I think this is a good start. Hope it isnt too little too late, but something has to be done and glad some people are taking an interest.
