Army to Conduct Range Training at Joint Base; Expect Ground Shaking, Noise

mcguire_fort_dix_lakehurst_joint_base_mdl_tls_picThe 3rd Battalion 112th Field Artillery will conduct artillery fire training at the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst base, Nov. 7-9, 2014.

The training is scheduled to occur during both day and night operations.

This training is essential and helps to ensure the readiness of America’s fighting force. The joint base community and residents of the surrounding areas may experience ground shaking and considerable noise coming from the ranges. It is important to note that noise from the ranges may travel farther during overcast weather conditions.
