JUST IN: 8:10 p.m: Lakewood Police are on the lookout for a man who just held up the TD Bank on Hooper Avenue. It’s the second time in less than a week TD bank was held up, this time however, a gun was brandished. Police are looking for a white male dressed in black and holding an umbrella. TLS-86
Update: The suspect has been apprehended and is under arrest. The suspect, 30, is being charged with armed robbery.

thats crazy
I heared that he put down the umbrella b/c his hands got tired !
why are Lakewood Police involved if the bank that was robbed is in Toms River (Hooper Ave)?
Um, because the bank is about a few hundred feet from the Lakewood border.
Oh and the bank is in Brick, not Toms River. Its at the corner of Beaverson/Shorrock road and Brick Blvd. On the new extension of Hooper Ave they built just for the bank.
This evening I waited twenty minutes at the drive-up at the Lakewood store on Rt. 9 & County Line and was unable to make a deposit. There was only one teller there and she seemed confused and was rude. But, some guy with a threatening looking umbrella could make a withdrawal in seconds?
I guess I just don’t know how to assert myself.
officer butterworth needs to be transfered to other surrounding police departments so that he can stop crimes.
when a town has a bank robbery every other municipality around it and in the county gets involved. This way they can all be on the look out for the person(s) that are doing it.
lets blame the landlords 4 both holdups.

no such thing as a free bee. eventually u will pay for it . dont kid yourself
