JUST IN: LPD have just been notified by Toms River Police about an Armed Robbery which occurred moments ago at the Holiday Car Wash on Route 37, with the suspect possibly fleeing into Lakewood. Police are looking for a Hispanic male, 5′ 5′, wearing a dark blue hoodie and black pants. The suspect showed a silver handgun fled on foot. Anyone with information is asked to call PD at 732-363-0200.

we used to have crime in lakewood, now it seems the criminals operate in Lakewood and do the crime elsewhere.

if he fled by foot why would they think he went to lakewood?? From Rt 37 in Toms River (9 MILES from lkwd) it would take him about 3 hours to reach lakewood by foot!!!!!!!!!!
