Approximately 1,500 are without power in Toms River.

TRJCC tells TLS they spoke with the lead supervisor for Ocean County, who stated a power line is down at the corner of Silverton and Kathleen.

Crews are on site assessing the situation, and a full team is on the way for repairs.

They are aware of the time that Shabbos begins and are working to have power restored as quickly as possible.

UPDATE: 5:56 PM: All but 16 customers restored, the TRJCC says.
