4 way Stop!! Whats it gona take, for some1 to die??
The sedan driver is clearly guilty of entering an intersection prior to making sure that there was no cross traffic coming his way. That driver was legally required to be more patient and wait until after the large-body truck totally cleared the roadway, so any oncoming vehicles would’ve been within his view. Instead, the sedan driver rushed without being able to see if there was anyone on the other side of the truck, in the east bound lane of Ridge Ave. Unfortunately, he guessed wrong this time.
This has nothing to do with more stop signs and everything to do with the lack of basic driving skills. I hope the driver apologized to the woman in the minivan because of his failure to comply with the NJ driving regulations.
Another inattentive driver. Unfortunately they’re all over the roads – in every town in the USA.
Not sure if the truck can be blamed however he clearly did not stop before turning. If he would have stopped then the car might have seen the van coming
I cant even comment on this any more.Mind Boggling! speechless!
can anyone possibly explain please, what the secret of no change from township at this intersection is ?!!!!!! despite accident after accident
Unbelievable! praying no blood is spilled !
hard to tell if van driver was speeding or not
It is not clear from the video if the truck didnt stop before. I think one of the solutions is that we shuldnt be in a rush and always look a 2nd time. i have seen countless of times that after one car makes a left turn the one behind it does also assuming if the first car was able to go then he can go to .stop look and then go.
The truck did nothing wrong! Omh Izzy!!
@Izzy you can’t see him at the stop sign so how do you know he didn’t stop.
The person in the car is totally at fault for not waiting till the truck went by and until they can see what was coming. Don’t blame the corner blame the drivers, 90% of the time it because the driver on brook did something wrong and dangerous.
If the driver waited for the truck to complete its turn and made sure the road was still clear this wouldn’t of happened. It was driver error and impatience which is the cause of most of the accidents. Everyone needs to leave ten minutes earlier and get there safe.
truck did nothing wrong just the car driver wasnt able to see the van coming based on rear of truck blocked his view
Why in the world did the Camry go?! He can’t see through a truck? Every time there is an accident here everyone chimes in about how crazy the intersection is and it’s the intersections fault and the people that park their car close to to intersection. In reality it the drivers that are driving that cause the accidents. Most of the accidents shown here happen when someone crosses the intersection just as another car passes by. Why? Why? Why? How can you possibly see down the road for on coming traffic when there is another car blocking your view?
Four way stop sign.
That’s it. Problem solved.
How about people take the extra step and look a couple of times. Maybe avoid this stuff
Car is at fault. Should’ve waited for the truck to pass before checking down the road on the right. The truck clearly obstructed the car’s view. FYI this accident was in no way like the last one posted where there is a natural obstruction of view to left side.
