Jackson Police Chief Matt Kunz this afternoon stated the Department is on alert in response to the ‘day of hate’ announcement by an extremist group.

“The Jackson PD is aware of the recent threat regarding a “Day of Hate,” and our command staff is working to ensure our patrols are diligently and proactively monitoring the township,” Chief Kunz told TLS.
