American Olam Hatorah Eagerly Awaits Visit of  Maran Harav Moshe Hillel Hirsch Shlit”a

It’s only a little more than a year since the Torah world in the US was zoche to a visit from the Slabodka Rosh Hayeshiva, Maran Hagaon Harav Moshe Hillel Hirsch Shlit”a. But for the Rosh Hayeshiva personally, it has been an arduous period of battle with ill health.

Understandably, the announcement of the Rosh Yeshiva upcoming brief visit, scheduled for the last week of January, is generating a strong sense of excitement and anticipation amongst talmidim and supporters.

The Rosh Hayeshiva will be arriving on Sunday, January 28 and will make his way directly to  a venue near the airport for a grand Kabalas Panim for talmidim and supporters.

The indefatigable mesirus nefesh of the Rosh Hayeshiva, both in his harbotzas Torah – delivering the primary shiur in the Yeshiva – as well as his shouldering the entire burden of both the ruchniyus and gashmiyus of the Yeshiva, is well known. To minimize the strain and bittul Torah, the organizers of the trip are making an effort to curtail the number of personal audiences in the Rosh Hayeshiva’s schedule. Instead, there will be several public communal events held in Lakewood, Boro Park, Flatbush, Monsey, Passaic, the Five Towns, and other communities.

Klal Yisroel looks forward to again greeting this venerated Godol b’Yisroel, one of our generation’s foremost ziknei Roshei Hayeshiva. May his visit bring bracha and chizuk to the Olam Hatorah and to all of Yahadus America.
