Ambulance Driver Injured in Multi-Vehicle MVA on Route 70

PHOTO: An Ambulance driver was injured this morning after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident on Route 70, an official said.

The accident occurred shortly before 11 AM, and caused heavy delays on Route 70 Eastbound.

A garbage trucks reportedly rear-ended the Alert Ambulance vehicle, and at least two other vehicles were reportedly hit as well.

The driver was transported by Lakewood First Aid to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries. TLS-MK.
