Amazon to Begin Making Drone Deliveries

It wasn’t a prank after all. Amazon announced it will soon begin making drone deliveries.

The company said it will begin making deliveries in Lockeford, Califronia later this year.

When Amazon announced Amazon Prime Air in 2013, many thought it was a joke – but it’s quickly becoming a reality. (See the video below released in 2013.)

The drones will be programmed to drop packages in customers’ backyards.

If successful, the company plans on rolling out the service in more towns around the U.S.

  1. Can you imagine if Amazon starts doing drone deliveries in Israel?! I mean, how can they determine if it’s an Iranian drone or an Amazon drone? By searching to see if it has the Amazon logo, you say? Yeah, but underneath the fake Amazon logo, it might say in small letters “Manufactured by the Ayatollahs.”!
