This is a continuation of an ongoing series of Amazon Seller Performance Related information.
The goal of these articles is to try our best to avoid compliance issues and best deal with them when we do get into trouble.
- If you see this “Address SMDCR complaints” – This means Materially Different and Counterfeit rate (HT JN)
- “Unfortunately, we are unable to accept the “Online Invoices” that you provided. We only accept invoices from supplier as valid documentation.” – This even if you show Amazon invoices it seems.
- If you send in an authorization letter that you’re an authorized dealer to sell a brand, and its forged, you will get blocked if they catch you. (They will know)
- Many sellers are aware that changing bank accounts, especially in the UK can cause you to be suspended. After seeing dozens of these cases, I’m sure that it’s not the change that does it. It’s likely the change causes someone to look at your account and they can suspend you for something they don’t like. In other words, it would have happened anyways.
- This is a mistake I see a lot of sellers make when dealing with Seller Performance. “Should you require an invoice of XYZ, let me know and I can provide”. As I have said multiple times, they are not the biggest schmoozers and they not going to shoot the breeze with you. If they are asking for invoices or you think it will help your cause and you have it, give them what they want.
- Many sellers are having issues with Rayban sunglasses. It could be because there are actual knockoffs in the marketplace and customers are quick to call any hitch with an order a “FAKE”. Make sure you have invoices to back up those sales because you will be asked for them at one point or another.
- For Rights Owner complaints, if you can get the RO to email that they filed the complaint in error, that’s advantageous to “withdrawal”. If you need help formatting the email for withdrawal, reach out to me. This part is ultra-important.
- “Your selling privileges were removed on another account that has a recurring negative balance. As a result, you may not sell on Amazon with this account. Your offers have been removed and a temporary hold has been placed on the funds from your sales.” Amazon will lose 1 million$ to collect 1$ they owed. Small outstanding balances should always be paid.
