  1. Yes the wrong person was fired. The township should take a good hard look at what really goes on at dpw. Maybe the hostel tyrants that make our day’s miserable will be reprimanded the same way……… Fired.

  2. Everything that happened yesterday could have been avoided if the upper management at dpw have put a stop to the problem since day one but instead of doing that they keep creating an hostile environment and now this are the results. This was nothing new, this was an ongoing problem and everybody was aware of the situation including all the supervisors at Dpw. Now you have a good guy fired, shame on you Lakewood

  3. The problem upper management knew of the situation and did nothingand sadly it has come to this
The way we are spoken to by this employee is a real problem and he is like that with everybody and the township knows this. Actually he should never been hired because he came here with baggage, upper management sat by and did nothing and knew this employee had issues what a shame

  4. yes #8 this is real !!! and the township IS aware !!! Just look at all the grievances that have been filed over hostile work environment that are ALWAYS dismissed !!! township doesn’t want to be bothered!!

  5. I believe all good things comes to those who wait. It seems odd that one of the employees has many people on his side and other does not. Sounds fishy to me. You can’t hide the truth forever. Where do I sign to have this employee back where they belong and respectfully deserves it. Looks like the management will have to choose between right and wrong and unfortunately with so many right people as backup they already have the answer.

  6. The guy that was fired is an good person and treat you like an human being but I don’t if I can say the same thing about the person that was only suspended. Also that guy was told to have guys available for Passover in case trucks breaks down but as usual he didn’t care cause his answer all the time is that he don’t live in Lakewood and he can’t see it from his house. And the guy that was fired was here running the show for the duration of Passover, that’s the type of person he is.He cares about his profession and his town. Hope the committee do something and hire him back. Get rid of the bad apples not the good ones please.
