Allegiant Air announced today that they will begin flying out of Atlantic City International Airport beginning later this year, adding four nonstop routes from the South-Jersey airport to Florida.
Allegiant’s planes, which will complement the recently announced Spirit flights, will fly to Fort Lauderdale, St. Petersburg, Sanford and Punta Gorda, the Las-Vegas based airline said.
To mark the launch, Allegiant is offering introductory one-way fares starting at $39 on all four routes. Tickets must be purchased by August 14, 2025, for travel through May 19, 2026.
Allegiant officials say the move will give South Jersey travelers more affordable options for visiting Florida, while also attracting visitors to Atlantic City.
Atlantic City Airport has recently seen an uptick in passengers looking to avoid the ongoing delays at Newark Liberty International Airport.
