Agudah: Sheimos Alert for Siyum Shavuos Publication

Agudah: In honor of Shavuos, Agudath Israel of America/The Siyum published and widely disseminated a 32 page booklet of divrei Torah.

We regret to inform you that the publication includes a graphic on page six that features a Sefer Torah open to an amud in which the Sheim Havayah Hakodosh appears several times.

The halachic guidance we have received is that this page requires genizah (burial) like all other Sheimos and may not be disposed of through ordinary means of disposal.

We sincerely regret and apologize for this inadvertent but serious oversight.
