Agudah NJ Director Rabbi Avi Schnall applauds Assemblyman Dancer for introducing legislation protecting religious cemeteries

Agudath Israel today applauded Assemblyman Ron Dancer for introducing legislation to protect religious cemeteries.

“Recently, Jewish cemeteries throughout the country have been vandalized by those who wish to express their hate in a most cowardly fashion,” said Agudath Israel New Jersey Director Rabbi Avi Schnall.

The bill, 4778, would bring add bias charges, and tough penalties, to those involved with such an act. (READ THE FULL BILL HERE.)

“Assemblyman Dancer’s bill sends a clear message to those who want to express hate, that it will not be tolerated. and will be punished to the fullest extent possible. We thank Assemblyman Dancer for taking this strong stance and are appreciative for his leadership.”
