ADL commends Facebook for removing Anti-Jewish conspiracy page

Facebook has removed a disgusting and highly controversial anti-Semitic page that has been on its platform for at least five years. The page peddled one of the worst anti-Jewish conspiracies from medieval times: Jewish ritual murder of non-Jews.

Said Jonathan Greenblatt, Anti-Defamation League CEO and National Director:

“We have been calling for the removal of this hateful, anti-Semitic Facebook page since 2014. It’s long overdue that Facebook took it down, but we’re glad it did. Media platforms are taking steps to counter hate and now it’s time to accelerate this work. That’s why we established our Center for Technology and Society and we will be working with the platforms to get ahead of the hate and abuse that is dangerous for our society.”
