  1. The Lakewood community is smart enough not to vote for change just for the sake of change. Mr. Langert is a fiscally responsible experienced businessman and commiteeman who is well liked and respected by the entire community. If someone feels they can do a better job than him my humble suggestion would be that he explain how he can do a better job.

  2. The tax bill tat you received is over estimated as the Twp did not finalize the 2014 tax rate.

Candidate promises to lower taxes and i have never seen it yet. Have Mr. Schwartz explain exactly what he will do in order to lower our taxes and then just maybe he will have a chance. Lakewood (and the USA) is fed up with a bunch of empty promises.

    Wish you lots of luck!

  3. Here we go again. There’s going to be a “Va’ad” for every opinion. Indecently, right or wrong, these individuals/organizations are terrible at PR. They wake up the day or night before elections and frantically deliver fliers, set up robo-calls, post an online article (not even, just an agitated message)begging us to vote for whomever. Maybe if they bothered to inform the public in a timely manner and explain the who, why, when and where etc, they’d have a chance. Now, it just sounds like a bunch of confusing noise, each trying to drown the other out. Too little too late.

  4. since when does the township send out over estimated tax bills?

Please spare us the lies, lets face it, our taxes are going up. vote out the incumbents.

  5. For those of you that are happy with status quo i.e. traffic congestion, lack of infrastructure, higher tax etc… continue voting for the same people. for those that actually care it’s time for change.

  6. Whoever sent this notice does not understand how votoing works. If both Langert and Schwartz say to vote for D’elia as the other candidate, he will get the most votes. Then Langert and Schwartz will split the rest. But Langert will get more and win. Rather they should say to only vote for Schwartz or even to vote for Langert with Schwartz. so D’elia is in 3rd place and off the general election ballot.

  7. if you want property taxes in lakewood to go down then here is the only solution. Stop building developments on every square inch of land.
