[ADVERTORIAL] Pesach is almost here and there is a seemingly endless list of things to do before Yom Tov begins. The most daunting and challenging task for most people, is Kashering the kitchen.
By now most people know of the benefits of using an electric immerser for the kitchen sinks. Often throughout the year we pour boiling chometz in our sinks, soup, cholent etc . The only way to make the sink truly Kosher L’Pesach, is with boiling water in the sink. The water actually boils in the sink most likely making it into a kli rishon. Sink inserts often cause backups from your pipes and can create chometz issues.
The Rabbonim and Poskim in town recommend this method as the best way to Kasher your sink.
A Lakewood individual came up with the idea of ‘Koshering R Us’ – which in fact manufactures these immersion heaters.
In addition to being able to purchase the product, Koshering R Us also provides a unique service where they’ll come to your house and Kasher your sinks for you.
All is done through the guidance of Rabbonim.

Can this be used with sink that is undercounted to my granite? Basically every house that was built in past ten years?
No, it will melt the glue.
By the way, many, many homes built in the past ten years don’t have granite counter tops.
How much does it cost for you to come kasher the (2) sinks?
This is a fabulous service. This will be the 3rd year we will be using “koshering R Us”. It was the biggest ordeal for my husband to kasher our 2 sinks every year. This was a breeze! They came, hooked up both sinks at the same time and within 40 minutes were done!, very little spill.
I highly recommend this service to everyone!
#4 – how much was it?
I can attest to the convenience, my husband can attest to the Hiddur. My brother Kashered our sinks for the past 2 years with the Kosher Immerser and it was a pleasure not to have to use inserts. It was quick and clean, not to mention entertainment for the kids to watch the bubbles. Looking forward to using it again this year. R’ Y. G.-you have no idea how many people appreciate your invention! Ashrecha!
I bought one for myself. I brought it with me to Monsey last year to kasher the sinks at my parents house. My father, a tremendous Talmid Chacham and Medakdeik B’Mitzvos was blown away how the sinks were Kashered K’Halacha. My mother was thrilled the house didn’t turn into a Mabul..
It is highly recommended.
Advice: If you have plastic (PVC) piping for the drain, let the water cool down before letting it down the drain. Otherwise, the glue used to seal the pipes will dissolve and you’ll end up with a leak.
I used to kasher my sinks by pouring boiling hot water over a stone. I would always get burnt and i for sure missed places specially around the curves. The stone cooled off & i was never comfortable that i did a good job . About 5 years ago i bought this product and the water boiled in the sink. Now every year i do it for family and friends. I think its the best invention since the wheel. Thank you!
Hey kashering r us are you in business this year?!
