“Learn from the mistakes of others, because you are not going to live long enough to make all the mistakes by yourself.”
But…..Why?
Just another typical day in Lakewood!!
The minivan is at fault. It’s right turn only all along route 9 north side of town between 7am and 7pm on weekdays for a reason. It is dangerous to go straight or make left turn. Even on weekends, when I believe the restriction is lifted, still ya gotta be careful but this minivan was driving careless and reckless. Didn’t fully stop at the stop sign and totally miscalculated when speeding across route 9. It totally wasn’t safe to do so at that time
Stop signs are there for a reason.
All 4 mini-vans didn’t come to a complete stop at the stop sign.
If the mini-van used better judgment when executing the turn, an accident could’ve definitely been avoided. That mini-van was in too much of a rush, though.
Certainly, it was the minivans fault. But you can skip the whole Megilla.
Even if he was permitted to go straight and even if he had stopped at the stop sign.
Fact is that he has a stop sign and Route 9 does not. That gives Route 9 the right of way. He has to wait for traffic to clear.
7 am to 7 pm on part of Rt 9 law is no left turn on or off; 24 hours stop at a stop sign. Suspend his license until NJ on line instructions are learned. Next time, revoke. On Rt 9 in both Lakewood and Toms River there should be no left turn on or off, plus add additional lanes.
This is why I hate driving in, near, or around Lakewood. Pretty soon all of ocean county is going to be a giant Lakewood. I was born in the Garden State but now it’s the Garbage State. Time to move to a non sanctuary state
Before you move to a new location, you may want to check if there are any pharmacies that are still in business in that area.
Many pharmacies all over America are closing their doors forever because they are not able to keep up with all the mass shoplifting that is happening non-stop.
