It is hard to believe that almost a year has passed since “The Accelerator” panel took place at the 2014 Parnassah Expo. It was the feature that wrapped up the two day event and drew a massive crowd in the main ballroom at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center.
The audience was held in suspense as the panel of investors questioned several entrepreneurs on stage about their innovative business plans. Question, answer, rebuttal, offer, counteroffer, decision and…a total of $1 million was committed to these entrepreneurs by the investors upon the terms they discussed – all under the auspices of the business attorney who was present.
Will we get another opportunity?
Sure!
The Accelerator will also be a key highlight of the 2015 Parnassah Expo, which will take place on March 18th in the same venue. Once again, up to $1 million will be made available by the seasoned investors on the panel. Once again, entrepreneurs of all stripes can apply for their chance to make the case for their business plans at The Accelerator – and potentially take it from dream to successful reality, b’ezras Hashem.
Applications to present to The Accelerator panel are now being accepted. Up to seven applicants will be selected.
Parnassah Network-Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce is eager to hear of the latest great business ideas emanating from our communities and offering more of our brothers and sisters the opportunity to succeed.
