A Reader Visits Chaim Yosef Meir

The following was submitted by the reader ‘Goldy’. I visited Chaim Yosef Meir and his parents in the hospital this past Sunday. His parents and extended family have tremendous emunah and bitachon. His father said I should tell everyone that they feel it is the tehillim – and I am sure other mitzvos done in his zechus – that will bring their son a refuah shelaima b’karov. So please let us all try to keep the tehillim chain going for as long as needed.

We are currently in the eighteenth cycle of Sefer Tehillim.

I would also like to encourage everyone to give tzedaka in his zechus as well. Especially now, many families are in need of help to cover Pesach expenses. Please give as much as you can to your local tzedaka organizations – as a zechus for Chaim Yosef Meir ben Miriam Henya and ALL the cholim around the world. I would like to share something that I recently received from someone through email:

The following was related to Rabbi Uri Silver by Rebbitzin Wolbe on February 29th 2012.

Three months earlier, Rabbi Shlomo Wolbe (author of the Alei Shor and the leading Mashgiach of the last generation) appeared in a dream to his granddaughter. He was very excited and animated – which she mentioned was uncharacteristic for Rav Wolbe who always spoke in a very controlled and measured manner. He was speaking very quickly and was looking upwards (also uncharacteristic) and he said that Mashiach is ready to come, if people would be “concerned for their friends like they are concerned for themselves” then Mashiach will come immediately. Rebbetizin Wolbe mentioned that it is a mitzva to publicize this dream.

  5. To A FRIEND, thanks for your kind words.

Btw, it doesn’t matter if people are saying duplicate chapters…the more who say each chapter the better!

  12. I was a talmid of the mashgiach R’Volbo zt”l for many years. I spoke with him in detail about “dreams” .He said He laughed them off .Tomin tehiyeh im hashen elikokechu. ain lonu asek benistorim. He said if it reoccurs three times ,i should come back to him.On my own note I believe these kind of dreams can give you an instant boost, but can cause damage to emuna in the long run i.e. false expectation etc

  13. To Talmid. #55…So let us not EXPECT but instead HOPE FOR and DAVEN FOR Mashiach to come very soon as we take upon ourselves ahavas chinam and achdus – two things we are told we need to have in order for Mashiach to arrive…(which is in line with people who are ““concerned for their friends like they are concerned for themselves.”

  14. Just want to mention it is ok if there is ovelapping of tehillim said. The more who say the same chapter the better. (This occurs because of the delay in time between when you post and when it appears due to moderator’s approval of each posting.)

  15. Can we get this back on the front page, and can R’ B. in that post tell the oilom what to be mekabel binyonei tefillin, such as regarding not taking off tefillin until the end of davening?

  16. my friends and i have said
