A Rare Request From Rosh Yeshivas Beis Medrosh Elyon:
“Teves 5783
To the generous ones of our nation,
I have come to recommend with my entire heart that you come to the aid of Yaakov Aharon who is going to build an important home for Hashem and his holy Torah. His family situation is extremely unusual. It is a very great mitzvah to help him build his home. He truly needs your assistance.
For this you should be blessed from on High
Shmuel Shulman
Menahel Ruchani”’
Yaakov Aharon has endured a heartbreaking life. At the vulnerable age of fourteen, his parents got divorced, and each of the eleven children was sent to live in a different home.
Yaakov Aharon spends his Shabbosim and Bein Hazmanim in Yeshiva, where despite all he has been through, he throws himself into avodas Hashem and limud Torah.
“Being all alone in the world…It’s something no one should have to ever know the pain of,” Yaakov Aharon admits.
“Now, Boruch Hashem, I met an amazing young girl and we are engaged. She is the best thing that ever happened to me, I am just so so grateful…. My parents are out of the picture, and her parents are so poor that without outside assistance getting married would take a miracle. If you could donate some of your maaser money to help us get married, it would mean so much to us.”
Yaakov Aharon is known by his friends and Rebbeim as a special eved Hashem who has suffered tremendously. Those who want to help give Yaakov Avraham a chance at a happier future can read the full letter from his Rebbi here.
