  1. Yes. Please don’t drink and drive, if you spill your drink it might stale you and cause an accident.

Also remember, under the current administrations energy policy, alcohol is cheaper than fuel; so it’s better to drink than drive.😀

  2. Don’t drink and drive – call for a ride.
LPD, thanks for the advice. However, my problem is that when I drink and call for a ride, I end up calling the wrong number.
For instance, last year, I drank and called for a ride, and the fellow at the other end of the line told me, “Sorry, but we don’t fly out of Lakewood; you’ll have to come to Newark airport, and then we’ll gladly fly you to your destination.”
2 years ago on Purim I drank, and called for a ride, and the guy on the other end of the line told me, “Sorry, but we just deliver the pizza, we don’t give rides to the pizza shop.”
Hence, LPD, while your advice is greatly appreciated, it doesn’t seem to work for me.
I’m thinking of calling a car service before I start drinking, and keeping the phone on hold with them until I’m done drinking and need the ride. But I don’t think that will work either. We’ll see.
