I think it would be helpful for one of the Askanim to write his name and phone #, so people can have an option to call and verify. I am not saying to disclose the name. I think people would give more generously if they see that some Rabbonim and Askanim are willing to put their names down.
Also, on another note, try to get The Chessed Fund to consider this a “verified Campaign”. That also helps.
