To all my dearest friends,
I am writing this letter hoping that all the girls that I went to elementary school with can read it or be given it. I was your classmate. We went to school together for ten years. When the time came to go to high school nobody wanted to accept me. I was told that I was a bad influence on a few girls. But you all knew the truth. I didn’t influence you girls. The only reason you got into high school and I didn’t is because I have no major yichus or choshuv last name, my parents aren’t wealthy, or well connected.
So you guys that influenced me one out. But none of you came to my defense. You pushed me to be what I didn’t want and then acted like you don’t know me. The schools listened to all the loshon hora your parents told them about me, and I was left out in the cold.
And now you guys are not better now that I went out of town. What do your mothers blame now! B”h I am in a wonderful bais yaakov. I have friends that are a good influence on me. But I still feel cheated that I can’t be around my parents and see my baby sisters and brothers growing up. My parents don’t have enough money to bring me home very often and it disrupts my classes.
I learned to be thankful for all the nisyonos that hashem has placed before me. I will find it in my heart to forgive you girls and your mothers. I hope you all realize that life is more important than the latest clothing when it’s not tznius. And I hope your mothers will now have to admit that maybe their little girls are not as impressionable as they thought. And that maybe they have a mind of their own and they need to sit down and talk with their daughters. And most of all the schools should not believe everything they hear about each girl.
Anyway, I will be fine now. I was allowed to use the school computer to write this just in case you think I have internet.
Yours truly,
S

Well said.
If anyone thinks know is a problem wait for a few years.
they make it sound like all 450 kids that Do get into a high school all come from wealthy and choshuve families . well if you believe that then I have a nice bridge to sell you . The vast majority of kids getting into mour high schools are from nice simple non wealthy and non ‘choshuv ‘ families . It is unfortunate that if for some reason one kid has to go out of town they start using the ‘blame the wealthy and choshuv ” nonsense >
AMEN!!! WE WERE TOLD BY ONE ADMIN .WE WOULD “BETZEM”TAKE YOU BUT WE WILL GET TO MUCH HEAT FROM THE PARENT BODY. AFTER 120 YEARS IS THAT WHAT YOUR ANSWER TO THE ALMIGHTY WILL BE????
what does “one out ” mean ?
#3 r u the one always offering to sell the bridge? can u pls tell us which bridge and whats the price? i’m a serious investor.
There should be a VAAD for getting into the schools, instead of having a VAAD for the kids that dont get IN! It should be set up by the Mashgiach and Roshei Hayeshiva that there is a VAAD that is in charge of these matters, not depended on pull and howe many people you can find to call up the decision makers!
OY.
As you can see it was much better for you out of town. Dont be bitter, be happy that hashem in his ways put you in the right place. Lakewood schools are not for everyone, just keep up the good work!
I dont understand something young lady. You had a chance to behave and act proper like all other girls. You chose not to be that way, or made the appearance that way. I am happy you are doing well, but please do not blame others for your mistakes. Take responsibility for your actions. You will grow and so will your siblings.
I wish you the best.
A Lakewood Parent
I think what was said between the lines is that she admits to being a girl who made bad choices however the other girls in her clique that made the same choices got into high schools because they had money or well connected names.
Based on that understanding I cant really fault the schools for not taking her. Why they took the other girls in is a different question.
Perhaps one had internet, TV, or other factors that weighed in?
Hey R Chuchom # 7 You are 100% right There should be a vaad set up to make sure that kids get into schools . That Vaad should also be required to make sure there are enough schools for everybody with normal class sizes . But that would mean that the Vaad would need a lot of money to pay for those schools and they would have to come to you and everybody else in town to ask for a lot of money . Now you know why there is no such vaad
to #10 you are the problem in this town your “judging” do you know this girl? Even if she had a little “spirt “is it correct to reject hr? would you like it if it was your daughter? GROW UP!!!!
9 and 10 are pretty stupid . to 10 why you think this girl was bad. is it possiblle that people misjudged her? and to 9 she has a right to be upset. every girl belongs home and every jewish kid should be guarenteed a spot in school .
It would be stupid for a girl who is not really happy with fitting in to a lakewood type schools to go to lakewood school, she could have ended up of the D c”v! Its much better to go to a out of town school were she would be happier. This is not stupidity!
I agree with poster 12 . Having a vaad would be the solution but a vaad woukld come along with the responsibility to pay for making the schools and that will never happen . You cant expect us to tell private guys to make schools and worry about the finances and then have a vaad tell them what to do .
I think the Lakewood community has to realize that within the next few years there will be a very large increase in frum teens. We have to be prepared to face the fact that Lakewood is not what it once was.We have to know and realize that not all teens, both girls and boys will fit “THE MOLD” we have created. We have to be proactive in changing our approach to the frum teenagers in our community with acceptance, understanding and humility. We need schools and enviorments that cater to helping ALL our frum girls. So they continue growing B’Derech Hatorah.Otherwise….. the “at-risk” population will unfortunately grow ……
Everybody agrees , Yet it is unrealistic to think thaT EVERY TYPE OF KID CAN FIT INTO ANY SCHOOL . We need various different types of schools for the various types of teens to be able to flourish . It is bad to try to shoehorn a kid that needs more space into a very strict bais yaakov framework . We all agrre that there is a need for more types of schools . The only question is who is going to pay for it . Its not fair to ask the guys who already made schools to pay to make new ones . Its our community responsibility .
Jay, our daughter goes to high school out of town as of 10th grade this year. We are all very happy with our decision and effort spent to get her in there. It wasn’t easy, but B’H things are working out well.
I hope everyone who is condemning this girl will not one day have the same in their own front yard- If you don’t feel someones pain, it can happen, perhaps your next child or even a grandchild- Learn to accept and understand instead of condemning
Be a better person
A Fellow Lakewood Parent
maybe you didn’t get in because your spelling is atrocious.
im looking for a job in sales… anyone?
where was everyone when this young girl was having “issues”?instead of excluding her,why not work with her. the right mentor in high school can make all the difference. as a parent of girls forced out of town,i cringe knowing her pain. she hit the nail on the head when she talked about the loss of family when out-of-town. and the fact it is working out says more about her and less about our community.saying “its all for the best”is a worn out cop-out to try to paint over the fact excluding girls is wrong.a psych degree is not needed to see the damage this practice causes. young girls today [as ever]have such time at this age. they are defining the way they perceive themself and the world.the message they are given is they are not onlynot wanted by the community that raised them, they are also hearing they are not even worth any investment. c’mon people! stop treating our children like garbage.
The vaad idea is atrocious. See the story about the Netziv and Bialik, where Bialik wrote the Rosh Yeshiva should die and the Netziv, understanding the responsibility of neing a parnes for the tzibur, still refused to throw him out of Volozhin.
Lakewood is already run by power being controlled in the hands of a very few – having a vaad do it will only institutionalize and give legitimization to the policy of not allowing girls into school.
Lakewood is known to be the biggest makkin torah in the world.Yet dealing with children it has a major problems.True children can be mean to each other. I wonder if Reb Aharon or Reb Schnuer would be around would this be going on. #’s 3,10,11 and 21.A girl or child is crying out about a problem don’t answere negative listen. Sometimes we can learn from our children. You are right sometimes it might be better to go out of town to learn and we don’t why rebno shel olaom sends us that route, but in the long run it was positive.Chesad belongs at home helping our children. It is a shame we don’t have an Alter from Slavbaka or any of his Talmidim. This girl should be masilach and her parents should have a lot nachas from her.
I wish you much success and I feel your pain because I went thru a similar situation. And teens can be such pains. Put it this way my 9th grade year was may worst 365 days of my life it was litterly a living hell, I prayed and prayed that it would stop. Then one day that kid got kicked out of the school for other reasons. I am 20 now and thank g-d my life is fine, and I here from other people that that other kid has come down with some kind of sickness
And might not make it. If you wana talk you can email me at (moderated) I really wish you much blessings with every thing.
Those parents who tateltale stop right now .If you think the girl is not good for your daughter just dont send her to the girl with the bad influence is going . and anyways i wonder wat you think bad is and lets see how good your daughter is.
to number 10——–
what u need is, a good slap across your face! it is people like you that are the cause for the reason why mashiach isnt here yet. What you did was judge this girl that she is a bad girl. Noone said anything about her being a bad girl. All she wrote was that she isnt from a wealthy family nor does she have yichus. And yes, when i went to highschool about 5 years ago, there was a girl in my class whos parents had money and she did not get into HS right away but her parents offered a couple of extra hundred dollars to get her in. Guess what? It worked!!!!
You are the type of parent who’s kids shouldnt get into school.
It looks like most of the people commenting did NOT get a basic education in writing & spelling. How appalling! If everyone would be busy learning in school instead of judging others, this girl and many others like her, would be accepted & not have her life spun upside down. Good luck to her & her parents.
There was a rumor that some people were ready to open a “Prospect” type of school but it was not desired by the powers that be. Perhaps more effort should be put into changing that decision, as many girls would be more comfortable in a more open-minded school and many of those girls are now being sent out of town.
My daughter had a girl in her class in high school who used to bring in printouts of jokes she received via email. I am sure not all were appropriate for circulation in a Lakewood Bais Yaakov. Someone had obviously applied some pressure to get this girl into the school. My daughter was not influenced but I don’t know if all her classmates were so fortunate. Everything must be weighed. I did mention this to the Hanhola but I don’t know if they were equipped to deal with it, given the very large number of classes and large class sizes that they were forced to accept. And if we can’t adequately service the students, what are we doing?
Bill Clinton A vaad doesnt mean a self appointed vaad . It means a community group elected and funded by everybody in the community with its sole purpose to fund and make schools . Pretty soon we will run out of private people to make schools with their own money and then we will have no choice but to create something like this . The velt already has this . Its called a local school board .
To #26
that’s nice. All the best for all.
You are right . i know that the existing schools would be very happy to have a “prospect ” trype school open up as there are a good number of girls that really need that but are being forced into schools that are not appropriate for them thereby hurting both themselves and their classmates in the process . Consider yourself lucky that your daughter was not influenced . I know of a number of cases where other peoples daughters were influenced badly by kids that had no business in their school and should have been sent to a more appropriate liberal school that is equipped to deal with these issues and where these issues are not considered so inappropriate .
Your headline is off the mark . If My child belongs in Lakewood Cheder socially and I want to send him to Satmar or Pupa and he or she gets rejected I wouldnt call that being rejected . I would call that a parent who shoulkd have known better as to the right school for his child . Maybe the oit of town scvhool in this case was the most suitable . There is no one size fits all school . It stands to reason that with almost 500 girls and only 5 schools of all the same very strict yeshivishe standards ,that a small percentage maybe 10 or 15 girls ,will just not fit in to the local schools every year .
From some of these comments it’s Blessing she is out of Lakewood. If some children are mean now I can understand were it come’s from.
Girls in the 6th grade that have issues should be sat down by their principals and told that if they keep up their shtick, they will not be accepted into a Lakewood High School. I think it’s ludacrous and a Chutzpa to say that Lakewood should have to open a Prospect style school or one of “open mindness” specifically to deal with the girls who don’t want to comply with the Lakewood system. I’m not talking about a girl who is just not so smart or just doesn’t get top marks, I’m discussing the type that was constantly thrown out of class all elementary school.
live and let live load it on
Why are you, or your kids so influential? Go look at other communites where they have ONE school or TWO schools and its a huge mix. THere are VERY yeshivish students learning with girls where there mother’s dont cover their hair, or dont dress appropriately….They turn out just fine, if not better. Just worry about being good parents and teaching your kids to accept others, not judge, and do whats right. Whats the big deal? If you were so scared to bring up your kids then you shouldn’t have had them. All you need to do, is do your hishtadlus and have bitachon and everything will be just fine. Everyone should be accepted, divided amongst the schools. Theres always room, its just an excuse bc somehow, everyone gets placed at the end (except for those who choose to go out of town) Why is Lakewood, the city that the whole Torah world looks up to, have such an issue with acceptance? Trust me, as an out of towner, Lakewood will have worse problems then school placements if they keep up this “attitude” kal yisroel areviem ze la ze.
Sounds nuts. Which achool would let a student use a computer for such a letter?
I lived out of town when my girls were growing up. In that community there on one school that serviced the entire community. Any family that wanted their children to have a jewish education was sent to that school. My girls had friends that were frum like themselves, but also girls who wore pants, girls who were not shomer shabbos, etc. My girls were taught that “a jew is a jew” and were never threatened in their own yiddishkeit. In fact, there were my girls who became frum by hanging out at our house on shabbos. Lakewood seems to create and perpetuate their own problems. Parents need to talk to their children about achdus, and understanding that everyone is growing in their yiddishkeit, and learn to accept people for who they are at this moment.
to tlc, a personal response..(from 9:58pm}
my letter was not printed…i must assume i wrote something offfensive or troubling. Is the concept of “a jew is a jew” too scary for lakewood? Is the possiblility of having a friend who may not be religious, which I guess implies tv and internet frighten the Lakewood community that much? Boruch Hashem, my kids have grown into wonderful frum human beings even with their nonobservant friends. I do not need a response..your not printing my letter was enough of a response for me.
How do write off a neshamahh at foutrteen?!
Still, we had no problem. Rebbitzen Sarah Schnerer accepted her immediately.
If we had a community based school that was funded and paid for by the community then it might work to have everybody mixed together . But that would mean that the community would need to make payroll every week for a high school with a couple of thousand kids . Who is going to take that finanmcial responsibility ?
#10 You have the guilt in you.Your thinking is what she is trying to enlighten this town to that it is discusting. The true “Moshe” that brought the Torah down didnt think like you. He was all about how to, LOVE EVERY JEW
why did you take away my comment?
girls learned yidishkeit at home & got married very young, with the support of parents, family, etc
Harav Chayim Kaniefsky, as many Gedolim from previous generations, has stated children [boys & girls} should get married young.
if better Hashkofos & training were implanted in the first 8-10 years in school, most could successfully marry young.
This would help many problems of school, shidduchim, and bad influences!
#10. It is trash like you that are ruining lakewood. Go back to NY.
maybee she didn’t misbehave. Maybe the school’s parents did. maybe the school is at fault for not WORKING with her. No one has achrayis except the victim?! Perhaps all the parents of rejected girls shoud get physical with these corrupt admins and boy will you see things change quick! That’s correct put FEAR into them if they want to be safe they will behave and cut out the politics. Sooner or later it will happen. Things are boiling over in Lakewood and it’s time to put a stop to it any way possible. If you think this is too extreme, is KILLING a yiddishe Neshama ok with you? should we be polite and say thank you and please or should we scream at the top of our voice WE’RE MAD AS ***&! AND WE’RE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE.
i happen to think tht so many of the responses were completly uncalled for!! # 21 i hope you read this! ur comment was 100% DISGUSTING!!! u took a completly legit argument and turned it into a nasty comment! this is why so mnay teens are straying from the right path! its people like you who dont care about anyone but themselves.!! if a girl feels this way it is important for the world to know about it so that we dont make the same mistake twice or more!! i think we should all be looking good looks at ourselves and start thinking about others. maybe then mashiach can come and we can all get into schools!
Its all about money and funding . If money was no object we would have as many schools as necessary and as many different types of schools for all different types of kids . There would be nobody left out . Right now we just have our priorities mixed up . we have many hundreds of peoplw owning summer vacation homes and we have dozens of steak house restaurants but we cant find the money to create a fund for supporting our schools . Shane on us .
whatever happened to “every Jewish child deserves a Jewish education? Do we just pick and choose and send “problems” packing? Who determines what is a problem and what is just normal “growing pains”? How can someone learn proper behavior if they are not taught? Shame on you. This girl deserved better and by the way, the girls who were her “friends” should take some responsibility too.
i live in a very small town and have 15 girls in my school! i come from a very normal avergae family while some girls in my school are either like me or very modern (some arent from shomer shabbat homes) and some are grand-daughters of major roshei yeshiva! NOBODY is turned down in my school! and you know what? we all get into very good seminaries and marry into great families. i learn to live and tolerate all different types for who they are! we are all JEWS!! i dont think it will kill you people in lakeood to heed this girls call and just learn from your mistakes! i hav e plenty of friends and relatives in lakewood and they are all different. i think it is more the parents at fault here! BTW #39 that is a syupid comment! if you dont have somehting nice to say or relevent, DONT SAY ANYTHING!!
all of you people dont get it . When lakewood had 50 kids in their high schools then there was room for everybody . When he grow by 20 % or more a year then we have space problems and the last ones left standing when there kis a shortage of space are going to be kids with issues . We had 100 girls goint into hs 10 years ago we have 450 kids going in this year and we have 1300 to 1400 girls going into primary next year . Its insane that we dont get together and create a framework for making and financially supporting more schools .
so who make’s the call who should live and who should die.
Effectively YOu are making that call . Let me explain. In reality yi]ou and I and everybody else in this town should be spending our money and do whatever it takes to create a fund for strating schools and funding them . This is our responsibility just like the general population realizes it is their responsibility to tax everybody to create the public school system . By not doing this ,we are effectively creating a situation where there is either a lack of space ,an extreme tightness of space and a lack of the different types of schools necessary for all our different types of kids . We are also ensuring that the schools have oversized classes and that they have no funds to hire social workers and other types of personell to help kids from becoming kids at risk .
We have created a system where private people have to fund their own schools by schnorring from their friends and relatives and theur parent body .in such an environmemt of tight space it is understandable that every private school is going to accept whomever is better for their school . You cant fault them because in sny case they all have huge classes anyway . So in essence we are tghe ones at fault for perpetuating a system that caused kids to be left out . Why we dont understand that we are just as responsible to fund our community education as thge public school taxpayers are ,is beyond me . I am not saying that one big community school is necessarily the answer . But some system that ensures that there is funding for every child that cant afford to pay full tuition ,is the only chance we have to bget out of this rut . I can guarantee you that if there was the proper funding then nobody would be left out and we would be able to have reasonable class sizes and enough social workers etc and our kids at risk mumbers woukld go down drastically .
I hear what you r saying ,but how come you don’t mention siyatah deshamiah .school never close because money maybe for other reason
Without Siyata Dishmaya and lemala miderech Hateva we would have 1000 kids without schools today . That doesnt mean that we are allowed to sit back and do nothing . Very soon it is going to be bechinas “ein somchin al Hanes ” . If we were really such balei Bitachon like in Nevardok then maybe we can do nothing and just wait for Hashem . But if in evey other dovor gashmi we spend a lot of time and money planning then Im not sure we have the right to say that Punkt by our childrens chinuch we dont need to do hishtadlus and can be someich on Nisim .
Maybe you are right that schools swont close because of money ,but Its certainly true that New Schools might not open because of money . Ask the Askanim . It is happening already . They are having an extremely difficult time convincing people to open new schools because of the financial burden involved . Even wehen somebody is “crazy enough ” to open a new school he never has enough monery to hire the professional needed for our kids that have issues . Witness the many hundreds of korbonos in Lakewood . It is sickening to look at what is going on in the street . A lot if this could be helped if the schools were properly funded to be able to have smaller classes and to be able to hire the right professionals to deal with these kids while they are young . Its all about money . we dont care enough as a community to spend our money properly
If schools dont close because of money it is because the schoolwners who are strapped for money sometimes have to take people for money even though they dont want to . Then yiu scream that why are they taking proteksia . Well if the public would fund them they would not have to take people for money or proteksia . You cant have it both ways .
so why can’t we work with what we have and try to make this better then trying to build more schools. What did they do in the 40’s 50’s 60,s 70’s and even the 80’s. the truth is i can’t answere why school owner ‘s are strap ,i never ran a school.sometimes things are not run with daas torah.something that we are doing is not right.children can not be turn down like they are from a production line. when children cry out don’t you feel we must help.or just send then away and label them as a problem.sometime’s when a child goes out of town it could be better, but it has to be handle right. This young girl is hurting from rejection she seens like she is doing well, but lakewood is such a big torah town that there is no girl’s school for her.just something doesn’t add up.
Did you ever hear the story how there were some boy’s putting a team together and they left someone out? Well isn’t this the same?
Everybody comes out of the woodworks to complain about the schools not accepting more kids but when it is explained that we need the community to pool its resources and fund more schools then suddenly everybody crawls back inside because they are afaid its going to cost money
Fact. 10 years ago there were about 150 girls in the 8th grades. Now there are about 450. In another 10 years there will be about 1500 girls in 8th grade. The avg family size precludes the high schools from charging the necessary tuition. And you want 4 or 5 private people to be financially responsible for this growth without a community wide solution.
Every girls high school in Lakewood loses money. The tuition amounts collected here are not enough to sustain a school. We never had this kind of growth in our history. You can’t expect the few people who are already bleeding money on their schools to go deeper into debt and keep expanding. They would collapse from the finacial strain. In the 40s thru 80s we did not have this growth.
What does losing money have to do with Daas Torah . You say that you never ran a school . Well neither did I but I have friends who did and they have dumped their life savings into it and have accumulated debts also . Dont yiu realize it costs millions to build school buildings / And what about the tutions that dont cover the payrolls and the large numbers of peoplw who just dont pay tuition because they are strapped and the know that the schoolowners probably wont throw their kids out .
to # 10
Your comment shows that most people have no clue as to what is going on . I am sure you are well meaning but to ask whywe cant do things like 30 years ago . well 30 years ago we didnt have a situation that almost every young couple in the frum velt moves to lakewood . This is a beautifulk thing but it has caused a growth in the schools that we have never seen in our history . This growth can not be managed by a few private individual volunteers like we have been doing till now . It will take countless tens of millions to build the school buildings or additions that we will need over the next 10 to 15 years .According to the numbers of almost 3000 children entering the primary grades in about 2 years from now that means in 10 years 27000 kids just in elementary schools and another 8000 or more in the high schools . If you think that we can handle that by relying on volunteers well i dont agree with that . Without a public funded solution our system will chV collapse . Bedfore people make comments like “why cant we just do things like 30 years ago ‘ they should at least get educated and know the facts and numbers . i think once thry do that theu will wake up and realize that things are different now
maybe you all right about money ,years ago are not like today and not being educated.still a young girl is crying out about a certain issue what should be done? where are we going? put your self in her parents and her shoes
Both you and I dont know the facts as to this young girl . There might be issues that we dont know about . We certainly cant pasken a serious shailo based on an anonymous post in a blog . However you are ignoring the facts that I have brough out that if we had the proper funding most of these issues woud be dealt with easier . Until we take our responsibility serious and spend on schools we have no reight to kvetch about problems that we are creating
I’m not ingnoring the money problem. that’s a problem. do i have answrer for this, no .why do you think this girl has a serious shailo and issues .i think she sounds normal to me.you are right we can’t pasken from anonymous post blog.put your self in this girl or her parents position.why do u say if there were money these issues would be dealt with easier. i don’t think this has to do with money.
To # 69
Neither you or Iknow who this girl is or if she really exists or anything about her issues . so can we comment or have an opinion ? The facts are that even though there is a terrible shortage of high school apace 99.9% of the girls have been getting into schools . ( i personally dont think that is going to keep happening if we dont find the money to make more schools over the next few years ) So if we find one or 2 exceptions then there might be a reason . as long as you dont know all the facts you cant have any opinion . And in thjis case you know NONE of the facts . But we all know that if we had more schools and more money and things werent so tight ,even these exceptions might not be a problem . Look at the boys mesivtas in Lakewood . There are so many that even the weakest most problematic boy can find a school easily . They are running after him . why ? because people want to make mesivtas to be marbitz torah and they can find donors for harbotzas Torah . But since we cant find donors for girls schools we have this problem .
What you say might be true I don’t have the facts. But I do know a yiddish child is crying out.nobody wants to help. from your commets to me it’s excuse’s.instead of saying the money, she can have issue’s and what ever problems we think of. nobody including myself has said how can we help?what should be done? Maybe speak to a Rav like Rav Boruch Ber Yaffe who’s Father Rav Morderchai Yaffe Z”L was a pioneer in chinuch in America.Ask Rabbi yaffe how old he was when he and brothers and sister were send away to learn torah. The family was in Detroit and Kansass City.
You are dealing with trying to help an anonymous unknown person who because we will never know who she is or if she exists ,we obviously cant help her . I am trying to deal with one of the root causes of what is going to cause these problems to happen to not 1 person but to hundreds of kids and you just ignore it and want to focus on this 1 unknown kid who we know nothing about . How exactly do you want us to help this unknown anonymous person with out any realk facts . To me it sounds like a cop out of dealing with the real problem
ok so how are you dealing with the root of this problem that should help 100’s of kids? just for record i know 3 girls from lakewood that had this problem and b’h they are doing very well in an out of town yeshiva, but there are a lot of bad feeling. the truth is this is the best thing that happen to them.it is expense for the parent’s but the school is working with the parents.no child should ever feel not want it.even helping 1 child is like saving a 100 chidren
to #10 u make it seem like its her fault!u do not know what she went through i went through the “high school crisis”!let me guess u got in right away no problems?just because u got in doesnt mean u can say its not ur problem saying what u just said ur denying the fact there is problem!
I think # 10 is on ur side. There is no blame on the girl not getting into school.# 10 holds it’s our problem that even 1 girl is deny getting into school yes it is our problem
You want to know how Im dealing with the problem . will tell you . I actively spent a lot of time and effort and helped an acquantaince of mine raise money to start a new school . I felt it was my responsibility to spend many weeks in helping him find some funding . Im not sure I did him a favor because he is so financially strapped now to meet the payrolls and has himself become a big Baal Chov due to heavy borrowing for the school . To top it off he gets called all kind of names because he is full and cant take more kids . But at least I tried my best and helped . Now tell me what you are doing now that you agree that we need to help fund the chinuch system . I gave it my best
36 and all else who are interested
are u serious cuz if i remember correctly god created adam and eve not just one
besides talkign abt kids being mean this is a girl who all she was tryign to do is say how it hurts and all we are doing is putting her down more and making the pain greater
take this from someone who knows what pain is
besides think abt this
kids dont act up for no reason there is always a reason soemthign wrong at home they are tired hungry dont feel well etc
as adults we shoud knwo and teach them to speak up but all they see is if they say such and such is bothering me blah blah we put them down tell them its not true etc why would they act any differently
have u ever considered the fact that alot of children who spend time outside of the classrooom for whatever reason need some help of soem sort wether it be scholastic or soemthign at home
do we offer it to them no so who are we to talk to judge and to put down and yes there is a need as there are many different types of ppl livign in lakewood it does not mean they are bad they are merely differnt then you perhaps
but #36 if u are saying there is no need for a “prospect” type school persay than what are u doin using the good old internet as your belief system should not allow it even for work i am not judgign you i am merely remindign you of the beliefs of that system
please try to be more empathetic to the needs of others as you would ur own v”ahavta l’reacha kamocha dont walk in front of me i may not follow , dont walk behind me i may not lead jsut walk beside me and b my friend and togehter we will walk in teh ways of hashem……………there is some brilliance and simplicity to the childrens songs we should all listen and hear and learn from tehm
