I recently purchased a non-woolen Zara suit, and people told me it doesn’t have to be checked. I called the local shatnetz labs, they all said it does, even if it’s a non-wool suit.
I just got back from the shatnetz lab and he found shatnetz in on the sholderpads of the suit. He said he found shatnetz in other Zara suits too.

was it an expensive suit?
I know someone that the boys jaxket vest and Pants “suit from h&m were also found to have Shatnez.
What does this mean practically for us? I only check garments that have wool or linen. Do we have to check every garment? If this is the case, what are the guidelines?
Um, it means ask your local Rabbi not the commenters on the TLS
Just like bekeshes which aren’t made of wool have been found with Shatnez in shoulders. Alls mens suit like garments should be checked.
