The Lakewood Board of Education on Wednesday distributed an estimated 98,000 meals to Lakewood children, despite the snowfall which impeded the operation but didn’t daunt the organizers. 

The BOE has been distributing meals for nearly the entirety of the ongoing pandemic, and an official told TLS they have no plans to stop, saying “this program provides an essential service to our children. This isn’t something we want to stop providing.”
