VIDEO: [UPDATED] A 93 year old man was stabbed to death in his home this afternoon, in what appears to be a family fight, officials say. Police were called to the Lions Head development home at about 2:00 PM this afternoon where they found the body of the man lying in the kitchen of his home with a stab wound to the chest and a knife on the counter.
Sources say neighbors saw the man’s 67 year old son fleeing the scene immediately following the incident 
and the victim’s wife was standing outside.
The son was located by Brick Police at his home a short time later, and taken into custody.
LPD’s Detectives’ Bureau, Ocean County Sheriffs Department and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the incident. TLS-CCP.
UPDATE Monday: The son has been charged with murder, and is being held on $1 million bail.

Sixty seven years ago this man was the proud father of a newborn son. Today he became that son’s murder victim. Horrible.
My condolences to the family. As Orthodox Jews we all know that the value of a life is not dependent on age or the persons ability to still play golf! This man lived in the early 1900’s saw history and then some….only to be savagely stabbed to death!! G-D help us quick!!!!!
