Video: 85 State Troopers Graduate 151st State Police Class

PHOTOS & VIDEO: A graduation ceremony was held Friday morning for the 151st State Police class. The 85 new Troopers have just completed their academy training and were welcomed into the State Police by dignitaries, family and friends at the Pine Belt Arena in Toms River.

The event – which featured the New Jersey State Police Pipe Band – was addressed by Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa as well as by State Police Superintendent, Colonel Rick Fuentes.

Also at the event, the Troopers demonstrated self defense and high risk arrest techniques, learned at the academy. Photos & Video by the Lakewood Shopper.
