  1. how about instead of thinking it just for one group you call the number and make the arrangments for your group,,IT IS FOR ALL CHILDRED

  2. i can recall going to the elementary schools in the past but i can’t tell you why we don’t do it anymore. what i can tell you that it’s very hard for volunteers to take time off from work now due to the way the economy is. times have definetly changed making it very hard for volunteers to reach out to the public, career departments stand a better chance but then the public crys due to the high budgets, it’s a no win fight.

  3. I can’t belive this.
The the Lakewood VOL. Fire Department goes out of there way and asks there members on there day of or during there lunch hour or while on vacation, to please take out some trucks so that the kids can see them, touch them and give soem fire safty rules, and all you can do is COMPLAIN. I just don’t get everyone. This is for EVERYONE, so they did’t mentition school (public or private) this for everone, they are just asking if you are going to come with a lrge group that maybe you can come in shifts so that ALL THE CHILDREN can have a good time.

stop complaining about everything even the good things.
