PHOTOS & VIDEO: Five police patrolman this evening took the biggest step yet in their career, by earning their stripes. After an introductory speech from Police Liaison Meir Lichtenstien, Police Chief Rob Lawson handed the Sergeants their new badge.
Promoted to Sergeants, were Robert Humeny, Robert Desimone, David Sussman, William Butterworth and Robert Shimonovitch.

Ari – buy a dictionary and learn to use it. It’s a big deal that as a journalist u don’t know the difference.

Congrats to the new Sgt’s! we have a great police force here who work like crazy running from call to call and they all should be thanked for it. So, thank you to all the officers of Jackson PD who leave their families every day not know whether they will return home to their loved ones, alive and uninjured. I’m proud of all of you. Stay safe!
