Four Yeshivahs all have joined forces for the month of Elul, sources tell TLS, and that is that they all share one building. For the duration of this Zman, Yeshivas Bais Reuvain Kamenitz, Rabbi Weinberger’s Mesivta and Yeshivah of Belmar, have all moved into the Tashbar building, and all for different reasons.
The Kamenitz Yeshivah, we are told, which is under the leadership of Reb Baruch Ber Grozuvsky, has purchased a building which required construction and was not completed in time for the Elul Zman.
Similarly, Rabbi Weinberger’s Mesivta has acquired a building, which is pending proper inspections.
The Belmar Yeshivah, under the leadership of Reb Dovid Heinemann Shlita, has relocated for Elul due to the fact that the Yeshivah is situated in close proximity to the beach, which is still frequented by beach-goers.
“The Tashbar Building”??
That building is owned by BMG.
#1: don’t get so worked up. Tashbar lives there, BMG doesn’t.
many times buildings are more readily identified by the tenant than the landlord. Who owns WalMarts building in Howell? who cares?
Rabbi Weinberger’s Yeshivah is a pure diamond. Top notch Limudei Kodesh AND Limudei Chol programs FYI its called Yeshivas Emek Hatorah
I have heard the same things about rabbi weinberger’s yeshiva that the great limudei chol perfectly complements the wonderful limudei kodesh
I have a few neighbors that have their sons attending Yeshivas Emek HaTorah and they are trilled. Rabbi Weinberger is a super personality and a great rebbi. The latest news is that just purchased a rural 6+ Acre school campus right on the Lakewood-Howell border and are awaiting approvals to move in. I wish him continued Bracha.
Hatzhlocha!
The best mesivta in town, Emek Hatorah!!! what a wondeful person, Rabbi Weinberger!! a mesivta with understanding of the buchers needs in this day and age, hard to come across
R’ Weinbergers yeshiva i heard is not going to there the whole zman only an other week or two!!!!! i heard ITS A GREAT YESHIVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m sure its a great yeshiva, but they seem to have a great full-time PR staff
good luck to weinbergers yeshiva a nice yeshiva but better for everybody for it to be on its own campus and not in a family neighborhood
When building new yeshiva buildings, or buying large campuses thought should go into sharing the site with another Mosad. All the fixed expenses could then be shared. Perhaps, this would help each Mosad make ends meet.
I think this is Hashems way of telling us enough of looking down at everyone else who is not exactly like you. Here’s some forced achdus. Everyone into the same building! I am actually hoping that no one will build an Emanuel wall in the school. Maybe get to know and appreciate each other. Take advantage of the chance for some ahavas chinam during Elul.
Whats “ahavas chinum”? is there a source for this phraseology in Chazal?
Maybe they have room for my bais hatorah boys? Or a few hundred bais haptorah boys
You gotta love it when everyone just “knows” what Hashem is trying to tell us.
A few days ago there was a big blackout in Lakewood. Maybe that was Hashem’s way of telling us that we should stop looking down on those who don’t keep Hilchos Tznius.
Someone’s spraying graffitti all over Lakewood. Maybe that is Hashem’s way of telling us that we should have voted for Hershel.
Frankly, no one has any clue how to read Hashem’s messages. We need to do what’s right, and that means to follow Shulchan Aruch.
Simple!
very simple. simply said.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of the frum real estate agent involved in the sale of the building to the Yeshiva, they will hopefully be in, in the next couple of days !! Yasher Koach to all the Askonim that are spearheading this project for this wonderful moisad.
It is very meaningful that boys in the United States have a good secular education in high school. Many Mechanchim are against they system employed by some Yeshivos which don’t teach English in high school. They believe it is the root of many problems.
Mamesh gevald.
