4 Injured In Head-On Collision On Friday Night

PHOTOS: Four people, including an elderly woman, were injured in a head-on collision Friday night, Police tell TLS. The crash occurred around 8PM near the intersection of County Line Road and Ridge Avenue and involved two vehicles.

The repsonding officers initially called for a Medevac, but cancelled it shortly before it landed, police say.

An elderly woman driving one of the vehicles was transported to KMC and the other three patients from the second vehicle, all Hispanic, suffered more serious injuries and were transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center. One of the patients, a 17 year old girl, was not wearing a seat-belt, police say. All patients were transported by EMS.

The driver of the vehicle with the three occupants was issued a summons for driving with an expired license, and the elderly woman was issued a summons for careless driving.

LPD’s Traffic & Safety division is investigating the crash.

As of this evening, non of the injuries appear to be life-threatening, police say.

County Line Road between Brook Road and Ridge Avenue was closed for several hours for the investigation. TLS.

Many people who live…or lived in Lakewood, including myself, enjoy reading TLS. I actually wish there was a reporter or writer who is non Jewish who could keep the town news flowing on Shabbos and other Jewish Holidays. NEWS does not stop….simply because people who are Jewish are practicing their beliefs.
People who are worried about “who took the pictures” or why is this news” are part of the Great Divide in our town! IT IS NOT all about one group of people and what they believe….IT IS ABOUT EVERYONE who live in Lakewood, are interested in Lakewood, who may pa taxes in Lakewood or want to know about the town they/we live in. It should not be all about YOU!. I enjoy saying US! Because WE all live our lives here!

My fellow commentators:

I highly recommend ignoring “cool masmid’s” comments. He is out of touch with reality and is living in a box so small I frankly don’t understand how he hasn’t – as yet – passed out from lack of oxygen.

#9 Why?

As other commentator’s are saying thank you for saying that, this web page is supposed to be for all the people of Lakewood. Not just the Jewish population. I hope to see more stories from other people of Lakewood.
