rechnitz and kanarekA mass Evening of Appreciation is being planned in Lakewood for Sunday, Jan. 24 – Tu B’shvat, to celebrate 30 years since Rav Shlomo Chaim Kanarek opened his first mossad hachinuch in Lakewood.

Since opening his first mossad, Bais Rivka Rochel Elementary School, Rav Kanarek has continued taking achrayus for the children of Lakewood by opening and taking the helm of five more schools – Bais Shaindel High School, Yeshiva Toras Aharon, Yeshiva Shaagas Aryeh, Yeshiva Bais Hatorah, and most recently, Mesoras Bnos Yisroel Elementary School.

The event, which will take place in Lake Terrace Hall, will feature attendance and speeches from Gedolei Roshei Yeshiva, Rabbanim and Klal Yisroel’s leading mechanchim.

Klal Yisroel’s renowned Tomech Torah V’chesed, Reb Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz, a close and personal friend of Rav Kanarek and his mosdos, will be traveling in from Los Angeles to deliver a Special Address to the parents of these chosheve mosdos and the Lakewood community at large.

More details of this momentous event will be posted as they become available.
