3 Most Common Questions About Upcoming Nationwide Parnassah Expo

Q: I’s confused. Is this a job fair or a business expo? A: Parnassah Expo will indeed have a large, comprehensive job fair, but that is only one of the expo’s many components.

The majority of the floor will be dedicated to comprehensive business to business networking for every type of business, in every industry, along with the experts who are masters in the field. Any business or service looking to expand its reach will gain from this exposure to people from well beyond our immediate region. There will also be comprehensive sections for education, private equity, social services and workshops from leading CEOs and consultants. Various government and community development entities from both Jewish and secular communities will be present too.

Whether you’re looking to offer your services to others or to find useful services for yourself –or both- you are sure to be busy.

Q: I plan on attending the expo, but I don’t feel the need to reserve a booth. I have business cards on me and I’ll distribute them to all relevant people.

A: Attending the expo will help you in that case too, but will not come close to giving you the maximum exposure. There will iy”H be thousands upon thousands of attendees of all sorts, and many of those who aren’t reserving booths will be able to use your services as well. If you do not have a booth, chances are that they won’t be able to find you.

If you do have a booth, you’ll exude professionalism and be very easy to find. Additionally, unlike typical B to B’s, those who reserve booths not only can offer their services to others, but other attendees and vendors can directly offer them useful services and contacts as well.

Q: I own a small business and I don’t exactly have a major “human resources department” with a database of positions to be filled, but I may need to fill one or two positions by the time the expo rolls around. Do I need to reserve a booth at the job fair?

A: Businesses of all sizes, offering job positions at all levels, will have booths at the expo’s job fair section. However, there is another major option for those who don’t want to reserve booths in this section. You can come to the expo and purchase a bright “hiring” tag at the door and walk around the job fair section, and people of interest will notice you.

#1 was saying that these expos end up benefiting the organizers more than the end user. What is your point of making fun of ppl that need Govt programs be happy your not on them. There are many working families that have to come on to programs.

  2. hey btw … i personnally know who makes this expo and know from him and his wife how they do this for chessed. they r wonderfulk ppl who can make money alot easier than being involved in tzorchei tzibur.
and ashrei miii the yungeleit who learn anf get on the programs and dont stiop learning and get the money instead of some unworking drunkard from the govt. our lomdei toraH deserve e penny. they are lucky to be zoche,

  3. The organizer of this event doesn’t take a penny for himself.
Many people got jobs from last years event. Even if the expo were to save one family from collapse ,it would be worth it.
The organizers cannot post the companies. Can u imagine the bombarding of calls they would receive?
I post one small job and get hundred of applicants.
This would cropped and company from doing business and they probably would back out of the expo.

  4. #9 they said its for men and women.

#10 All the articles say that there will be jobs there. The main thing seems to be businesses benefitting busineses but there is a section devoted to jobs for ppl looking to be hired.
