  1. hope everyone is okay.. but no investigation needed, someone went on the wrong side of the road and hit the other car. end of story.. why did he do that? perhaps he was texting, perhaps he was too impatient to wait for the car who was in front of him making a right turn so he decided to pass him on the left, on the wrong side of the road.. in any event, a completely avoidable accident

  2. How do you know? Maybe he had a seizure or a heart attack. Maybe he swerved to avoid a hazard. Maybe his tire blew. Don’t be so quick to spout an opinion when you don’t know what your talking about.

  3. no more traffic lights! people need to learn how to drive correctly, slow down and not be in such a rush and not talk or text on their phones! to put it bluntly- use common sense!

  4. More traffic lights won’t help with the traffic problems.Yesterday I was stopped at the traffic light to make a left at Rt9 and central ave To travel north when the car behind me passed on the right to go north.People in this town do not know the rules, make up their own and always in a hurry.

  5. Driving on Rte. 9 or any other street in Lakewood is a nightmare. There’s always someone at nearly every corner in a van pulling out of a side street to get in front of you. It has become a “me first” town!

  6. well i guess traffic and saftey dont need to bother with a investagation number 14 the resident in all his wisdom has already solved the case !!!!!!!! you cannot tell from the damage how fast they were going !! stop making things up

  7. The police should review the phones to see who was texting and or who was on the phone.

This is the number one cause of accidents in my opinion.

  8. I work on Pine Blvd, and many of the people that live in a housing development off this street do NOT stop at the stop sign coming out of their street. I have also witnessed many people inching there way out onto route 9 to make a left (north) where they block the road going south. No sure whose error this was, but im almost certain it could have been avoided if the rules of the road where followed.
