Former NBA Superstar and Orthodox Jew Ama’re/Yehoshafat Stoudemire Visits Lakewood Art Gallery [VIDEOS]

Six-time NBA All-Star and now-Orthodox Jew Ama’re/Yehoshafat Stoudemire visited a Lakewood art gallery Wednesday evening.

Stoudemire has lived in Israel for the past several years, and played for the Tel Aviv Macabee basketball team, during which he was named Most Valuable Player and won a championship. He converted to being an Orthodox Jew earlier this year and lives his life al pi halacha.

Stoudemire was drawn to the Lakewood art gallery to see the artwork of Mrs. Libby Klein, who painted a black and white picture of men learning in a shul for Stoudemire.
