Christie Nominates 2 New State Supreme Court Justices

Gov. Chris Christie today nominated two new state Supreme Court justices. Phillip Kwon, who worked under Christie when he was U.S. attorney, and Bruce Harris, who was elected mayor of Chatham Borough in November, will replace Justice John Wallace Jr., and Justice Virginia Long.

“Governor Christie has announced two candidates who have the right legal acumen and judicial philosophy needed to restore order to the state’s Supreme Court that has issued several puzzling decisions over the years”, Assembly Republican Conference Leader David Rible, (R-Monmouth and Ocean) said.

Rible added, “I look forward to a thorough and speedy confirmation process.” TLS.
