11-Year-Old Jackson Boy Who Donated $3,650 to Northern Ocean County Animal Shelter Recognized by the Board of Health

Last week, Cameron Lord received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ocean County Board of Health for his generous gift of $3,650 to the Northern Ocean County Animal Shelter.

The $3,650 is being used to pay for dog and cat adoption fees by residents who adopt from the shelter.

Cameron received the funds from donations by area businesses and the money he received for his recent 11th birthday. Cameron hopes to help “CLEAR THE SHELTER” – during a nationwide adoption campaign currently being held at our animal facilities in Jackson and Manahawkin.

  1. That’s one selfless young man. Who knows who he will help next when he is an adult. It might be one of you readers. Don’t comment negative things just because that is what popped into your head.
