A local driver tells TLS he was exiting the Garden State Parkway in Brick early this morning when he came frighteningly close to T-boning a police officer who drove through a red light without lights or sirens.
Fortunately, the attentive driver was able to brake in time, narrowly avoiding what could have been a serious crash.
why can’t Brick PD investigate? there should be cameras at the intersection! and they should have a tracking signal off the patrol car!

In NYC we learned to approach with sirens and lights and to pause for three seconds so you are seen and you can see. That goes for any color light and stop signs.
That’s prob the same cop that gave my wife a ticket for honking.
