The Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah today during a meeting at the Agudath Israel Headquarters discussed various issues affecting the larger Jewish community in America.
Among the subjects discussed were the current crises in Ukraine, its impact on the Jewish community there, and the role of Torah Jewry in the United States; the latest developments affecting the Torah community in Eretz Yisroel; the dangers of the “Open Orthodoxy” movement; and a proposed new Mishna Yomi program for youth, under the auspices Pirchei Agudas Yisroel.
