PHOTOS & VIDEO: Groups of runners taking part in this Sunday’s second annual Jog-a-thon, performed a test run last night ahead of the upcoming event.The 5 Kilometer race – coordinated by Moshe Serebrowski – will be taking kick off this Sunday at the Special Children’s Center.
Approximately 100 runners are taking place in this year’s run, and they have already raised about $70,000 – about $20,000 more than last year.
“We are aiming for a goal of $100,000”, coordinator Moshe Serebrowski says.
Committeeman Albert Akerman is again running this year.
“It’s really exciting to be working and training with such a fun group of people”, Akerman says. I’ve been enjoying the camaraderie very much.”
