R’ Pinchos Huminer Speaks For First Time Since Being Critically Struck By Vehicle

meshulach hospitalJUST IN: [UPDATED]  Pinchos Ben Sarah Esther, the Meshulach critically injured on Purim night in Lakewood, has just spoken for the first time since going into a Coma, a Bikur Cholim member as well as R’ Michoel Rottenberg who just spoke with him on the phone, tell TLS.

The Meshulach, who arrived to Eretz Yisroel just one day ago, was being visited by his Mechutan who walked into his room and said “Vus hertz zach R’ Pinchos”, not expecting an answer. To his shock however, the Meshulach responded “Baruch Hashem”, although he did not recognize his Mechutan, or the names of those on the phone.

The Mehcutan further asked R’ Pinchos if he will be eating Maztos on Pesach, to which he responded, “Iy’H”.

R’ Pinchos then said, “Zay meshachrer mich, Zay meshachrer mich”, (free me, free me), as he could not comprehend why he was tied to all the machines.

R’ Michoel Rottenberg, who was involved with the tragedy since Purim excitingly tells TLS he just got off the phone with him as well and when he asked him how he’s feeling he said, “Besser”. R’ Michoel also says, that Doctor lifted R’ Pinchos from his Hospital bed in order to clean him, and he remained standing on his own.

He is also repeating name of family members.

“Mammish Nissim Geliim”, (It’s a pure open miracle) R’ Michoel says.

Just weeks ago, R’ Oinchos was clinging to life and his family was expecting the worst, but Doctors are now hopeful for a recovery.

He remains in Tal Hashomer Hospital. TLS.

He was totally unresponsive & there was only partial brain activity a day after the crash. The fact that now, 3 weeks later, he’s standing on his own & answering questions tzum zach, is an absolute nes niglah v’niflah. The z’chusim of the askanim in this case is awesone – uhn es zuhl zay baishtain.
