PHOTO: CIU & LPD’s Traffic and Safety Division are investigating a serious accident this morning on Central Avenue which sent two patients to the Hospital – one in serious condition. The Accident occurred in the area of Central Avenue and Regent Drive at about 7:30 a.m. this morning, and the road remains closed in the area.
One patient was transported by Hatzolah Medics to Jersey Shore Medical Center, and the other driver was transported with EMS to Kimball Medical Center with minor injuries.
As we post this, another MVA occurred on Prospect Street, and another on Monmouth Avenue.
Correction: accident occurred at 7:05 am @ intersection of Central & St. Nicholas Ave.

Sorry to hear that people were hurt, but I sincerely wish the people of Lakewood would just slow down and be more careful. The roads were obviously touched with snow this morning, but people did not take that into account when hitting the road this morning.

go there at any given morning and just observe how many people blow the stop signs. regent and valley are much worse

is it just me or is this town like a bunch of 3rd graders at a bumper cars? i saw a lady smash into a parked car in a parking lot and drive away. how can we be so selfish? mamash like 3rd grade
