A vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident this afternoon, was located by Lakewood Police shortly after the incident, sources tell TLS. Police responded to an MVA hit-and-run on River Avenue earlier this afternoon, and traced the plate left behind at the scene, to an address in the vicinity of the crash.
An officer on his way to the suspect’s home, spotted the vehicle parked in a driveway off of Prospect Street and immediately identified the vehicle by matching the plates.
The driver was not found, but the vehicle was impounded by police.
A short time later, the driver came to the police headquarters looking for his missing vehicle, and was issued three summonses. TLS-CCP/TLS-CH.

with your attitude you should be givin ……
3 summons can be significant. Take one of the tickets most likely issued, leaving the scene of an accident i.e. hit and run. That single ticket can be as much as 8 points if the other motorist(s) involved was injured..
leaving the scene of an accident is much worse than having your tail light out.
walking in to the lpd ……….
