Lakewood Mayor Ray Coles responds to your ‘Ask The Mayor’ questions: Oberlin and Cedarbridge

The following is an ‘Ask The Mayor’ question submitted to TLS, and the Mayor’s response. Email your questions for the Mayor to [email protected].

Question:

Hello Mr Mayor.

Thank you very much for all that you do for the town.

Recently Oberlin by Cedarbridge had a 3rd lane added on Oberlin when your facing cedarbridge on both sides of cedarbridge. There is now a left turning lane, a lane going straight and a lane for both going straight and making a right turn. The signs that are Still up on Both sides of Oberlin are still reflecting when it was only 2 lanes and people are only realizing at the last 2nd. I am sending you a pic of one of them. Can you please reach out to the dept that deals with that and have the correct updated signs installed.

Thank you very much.

Response from Mayor Coles:

Good morning,

This is a project the county has been working on for quite some time. Even though it looks complete, there is still some work that is needed on the signals. They were working on it last week. I am waiting for a response when it will be finished.

Thanks

Ray

  1. TLS, Please edit letters before printing (i.e., “you’re” to replace “your” and “second” to replace “second”…).
It is disrespectful and mortifying to send a letter full of errors to the mayor.
    Thank you.
